He is said to have wanted to design stiletto heels red bottom shoes http://www.bestchristianshoes.com/christian_louboutin_shoes-2-20.html red sole shoes after an incident in his twenties, when he saw a sign at a museum telling people that they could not wear this type of heel in case they damaged the floor. Louboutin supposedly wanted to rebel against this, and therefore set his heart on designing vertiginously high heels.

In 1992, Louboutin opened his first store in Paris.

It was also this year that he came up with the traditional red sole that has become an object of lust ever since, and is his trademark.
